August 2nd 2018 Fellow Feather’s Meeting Minutes

In Attendance: Chris Valley, Rob Johnson, Wayne Michelsen, Mark Stelzer.

Guests / New Members: No guests or new members.

Great Flights: Lots of really good flights enjoyed by all.

President’s Report (Rob Johnson): Everything getting prepped for the Air Races this Saturday.

Vice President’s Report (Wayne Michelsen): Caught up with pilot sticker entries.

Secretary’s Report (Chris Valley): July meeting minutes posted.

Treasurer’s Report (Steve Rodrigues by email): Our current bank balance is $18,860.24, minus the $10K roofing fund, which leaves $8,860, which is $1,100 short of our budget goal of $9,960.

Clubhouse Officer’s Report (Rob Johnson): Clubhouse continues to be worked on - rack work to commence / continue. Work party for LZ & launch maintenance was had a few weekends ago.

Safety Officer’s Report (John Simpson): Not present. Nothing to report.

Tech Officer’s Report (Chuck Kranz): Not present. Things are working and getting fixed and or replaced, though, on a regular basis.

Administrator Reports:

~ Tandem (Urs Kellenberger): Not present. Nothing to report.
~ Training Bowl (John Simpson): Not present. Nothing to report.

GGNRA Liaison Report (Steve Rodrigues): Steve will contact GGNRA for removal of cut branches post boardwalk installation.

Old Business: No old business.

New Business: Continued: Informational signage will be posted to educate pilots on the bank swallow and new airspace requirements related to our flying privileges at the Fort.
