June 1st 2016 Fellow Feather’s Meeting Minutes

In Attendance: Chris Valley, John Simpson, Wayne Michelsen, Urs Kellenberger, George Artz

Guests / New Members: No new guests or new Members.

Great Flights: Wayne had a stunningly spectacular Memorial’s Day weekend flight in the Owens (Walt’s to Lake Crowley) - kissed 15,000’ - 90 miles - no camera. 2nd flight was 30 miles (Lake Crowley to Lee Vining and Mono Lake Airport). So awesome according to Wayne. George bought more altitude at Funston than anyone else over the last month.

President’s Report (John Simpson): Getting the Certificate of Insurance established with USHPA amongst other things. Suggested adding a launch / set-up area maintenance position.

Vice President’s Report (Wayne Michelsen): Purchased pizza and talked about his great Memorial Day weekend of flying.

Secretary’s Report (Chris Valley): April minutes posted on the bulletin board.

Treasurer’s Report (Lisa Lesser): Nothing to report.

Clubhouse Officer’s Report (Rob Johnson): Nothing to report. Will bolt down and secure lawn mower soon.

Safety Officer’s Report (Chris Carrillo): Nothing to report.

Tech Officer’s Report (Chuck Kranz): Working on the WiFi’s.

Administrator Reports:

~ Training Bowl (Mark Lilledahl): Nothing to report.

GGNRA Liaison Report (Steve Rodrigues): Getting the club chapter updated with USHPA.

New Business: BBQ’s will be had this summer - dates to be announced.
