Art Thompson disciplinary action was discussed, motion was made to formally suspend Art form Funston permanently, but with the possibility of petitioning the board, after one year minimum, to consider re-instatement of flying privileges, based upon his convincing board that he will fly safely, and follow all rules. Should board grant re-instsement, it is understood that upon any further violation of rules, Art would be permanently suspended.

Motion was seconded, vote was 11 in favor, 2 against, motion passed.
Air races took in $762 from t shirt sales.

Budget report Van, some items went over budget, some under, overall very close to balance.

Signage was discussed, Club needs 4 new signs, will ask GGNRA aboutt wind master mounts for sand trail signage.

Chuck reported obtaining new modem, still need higher speed DSL. Need to resolve data base issues.

Steve reminded the board that any officer can do Tandem inspections.

Charles reported that Jim fixed the door in back - Thanks Jim! - also that 95% of spaces paid for, last 5 non paid - it was agreed to move their gliders to purgatory. Several old unclaimed gliders were moved from purgatory and disposed of.

Tom Lowe, Tracey Story, Tom White were recognized for helping manage sand trail traffic during a busy Saturday, proved to be effective, discussed future means of expanding practice, encouraging other pilots to participate.
