Flyfunston

Long time member of the grater Bay Area hang gliding community and one time Fort Funston regular, Rick Canham, died this last week. Rick quit flying ten years or so ago. Prior to that he was an active member of the Bay Area hang gliding community since the late 1970's. He was a hang gliding instructor back in the Dillon Beach days and always up beat and willing to help out. He was a good friend of mine. I will post further details as they become available.

so much time has gone by that I do remember his name and that I used to fly in the same areas as he.
I think he might have even taught me some lessons .
