Please note that due to the government shut down all GGNRA parks are officially closed. Unfortunately that means that hang gliding is not permitted at Fort Funston until the government approves a funding bill. Any hg'ing there in the interim would put our special use permit in jeopardy.

This is the official notice that we received from the NPS/GGNRA:

"Fellow Feathers Hang Gliding Club is a partner of the National Park Service. Due to the Federal government shutdown, all Fellow Feathers operations at Fort Funston are closed as of October 1, 2013."

Why is the Notice of 'No Flying' not there with the Meeting Notice on the Main FF Page?
