The tribe got some air today . People were setting up their wing of choice by 9 o'clock.
One guy named Walter flew almost to the Pacifica pier. many pilots landed due to the cold , around 39 F at the top of lift around 1300 @ westlake .
by 2 pm it was blowing out . Steve R and I sped down to Mission for a 1 hr flight in fat lift until sundown.

Yes, sir...the weekend delivered some goodness indeed!

It was so good to have a flight that lasted over 10 minutes!

I saw that Walter guy go deep...very impressive.

Lots of people's blowing off the cobwebs on Sunday for sure.

Monday delivered a nice mild low altitude shear...boated around launch and the bunker at times kissing 500' here and there for an hour and twenty. Sidewire and Firefighter Quinn shared the air that day.

2012 is here!

Walter followed me to the second trailer park , when I cowered, 550 ft high, he hyperextended as I ran back.... I came over the Mussel rock RC hill and transfer area bowl at 320 , and sinking the whole way . drifted over the dump in zero sink , smooth and buoyant . whew.
and here comes Walter at the same height. great day .
