Sewer project

The sewer outfall north of launch might be going away! Check out Daly City plans to re-vamp the sewer line. The project would inclulde a staging area next to the parking lot so we need to getinvolved to insure they don't create a dangerous situation or obstruct our flying.

the bad news : there will be a new pipe outlet structure on the beach , at the bottom of the low cliffs south of funston. the good news: they'd remove the existing 'pipe' at Funston itself. if I'm reading this right . the root cause for this work is that the county of San Mateo wants to dispose of its storm water within its own county . Presently San Mateo's catch basin water comes out of 'the pipe' in San Fran County, a no no . thanks for pointing out this page Steve
