Fort Funston Closed 4th of July weekend

Email from the GGNRA received on 7/2/2020, the Fort Funston parking lot will be closed Saturday and Sunday of the 4th of July weekend.
Dear GGNRA Partners,
There has been a change in holiday operations, and the park will institute the following parking closures, in San Francisco County only, for this Saturday and Sunday only. We are working on our web updates and media release now.
At the request of the City and County of San Francisco, and in order to comply with local and state health authority recommendations, these parking areas will be closed on Saturday July 4 and Sunday July 5, and reopen on Monday. Open spaces and beaches will be open to pedestrian/bicycle access:
• Fort Funston
• Sloat Blvd parking at Ocean Beach (Ocean Beach- city parking will be closed by the city)
• Lands End- Merrie Way and Navy Memorial parking
• Baker Beach
• China Beach
• GG Bridge- Langdon Court
• Battery East
• Fort Point parking and Long Avenue
• Crissy Field: West Bluff, East Beach parking
