Flyfunston

I was wondering if there was a way to get the real time pic of launch on my phone.
I understand that it's not possible currently, but it seems technologically feasible.

If you have a data plan and a capable phone, just use the mobile web browser and go to flyfunston.org . I have it set up to recognize most phones and automatically give you a page that's better formatted for the small screen. Please post here with your carrier, phone make and model, and whether or not it worked.

I don't have SMS alerts set up yet, but that should be doable once we get a computer and a wind meter at the clubhouse.

I hadn't tried to use my phone for any data service until now.
I signed up ($5/month) and I can get flyfunston.org (the last 2 pictures).
This is excellent.

I have verizon on a samsung A950 phone.

You should also be able to click on "Funston wind data" to get the live wind data.

The data doesn't seem to refresh very well, so until I figure that out I just clear the cache from the browser.
