Fellow Feathers - GGNRA Special Use Permit 2019-2020

Besides our permit now having a longer term, a major benefit achieved was adding a 500’ AGL floor above the Bank Swallow nesting area. Now, instead of not being able to fly north of the north gap from March 15 through August 15, we can now overfly the area *if* we are at LEAST 500’ AGL!
To be clear, if you are at least 500’ AGL, you may now fly north of the north gap during nesting season. But if you are lower than 500’, *DO NOT* fly over the Bank Swallow nesting area.
This is a valuable change to our permit but it can be revoked if abused. Please, don’t be “that guy” (or “that gal”) who blows it for everyone else.
Remember the old adage: Get Up, Get High, Go Far!
