The NPS/GGNRA law enforcement division is attempting to organize the parking lot at Fort Funston. They have painted a red stripe outlining the parking lot and are requesting that vehicles be parked inside the red stripe on the pavement and NOT parked outside the stripe on the sand. Be forewarned: If you park outside the red stripe or on the sand you are liable to receive a parking ticket.
