Yeah thats great Dave complain but no name change to offer,so why change just to change or is it a real big deal? The name has been there for several years.Just like others the name grows with the age of the site.

I like it.

Though I misread it the first time as San Francisco Frog Pilots.

The Friendly Fluffy Fuzzy Yellow Fellow Feathers,

How about that? would that be an improvement? Less lame?

How about the Bad Ass Cliff Diving Sky Studs! ?

Or How about and the He Man Man Hawk Cliff Buzzing Association. Kind of a take off on Rick Canham's license plate "Man Hawk".

Or how about The Soaring Cliff Munks of Funston. We do have our rituals, and we do meditate over the pacific!

Name change?

4F CLUB NAME CHANGE

I think your club's name is very much in tune with the times, and kinda cool in a New Age San Francisco sort-a-way. Kinda like one of those Marin County-styled, post-hippie men's groups that gather in the woods dressed up as indians and beat on drums and chant. Although some of the more traditional, red-blooded American boys-next-door among you folks might think the name is not befitting of a white-male dominated sport and a white-male dominated club, you should try to remember that this is San Francisco, California. Look on the bright side: it's better than "Feathery Fellows of Fort Funston."

Still, if you people do change your club's name, I suggest the following:

1) The Sky Gorillas
2) Wild Blue Marvericks
3) El Padres de Las Nubes

Sorry, the second one should be " . . .Mavericks," and that last one should be "Los Padres de Las Nubes." I'm new to the Spanish language.

Also, one last one: "The Windracers."

I hope that helps.

the Fellow Feathers

Hmmm..

well, stepping back and considering the name, I think is rather witty. Birds of a feather flock together, Fellow Feathers, yeah, thats catchy. yet still a little too fethery and fluffy..

Wind racers, yeah, I like the image, thats me, thats what I aspire too, I can relate to that.. yet.. its not what its all about.. there is the element of medetation to flying funston too.

Aahhh the illusive words. We know. Thats whats important huh? Its a Gezstazlt (70s word meaning the inxplicable whole)..

Henry

How about the Fun-Stoners?
