in Eric's photo?
I have 5 different gliders (but most have 1 or two).....a slow (old) trainer (SS (single surface)), an older intermediate glider (60% DS (Double Surface), another nicer older intermediate glider (65% DS), a more advanced (80%) DS glider (2006) and a nice but a few years old advanced (90%) topless glider....
They are like cars, all different types/models/performance ranges so each pilot might be looking for a different style of flying using a different type of glider....

You might try your question in a new post or even over on http://www.hanggliding.org where you will be flooded with responses...
Good luck and welcome to our addiction.
