Congress has passed a new appropriation bill and the federal government has the authority and funding to reopen. I'm happy to inform you that Golden Gate National Recreation Area will reopen on Thursday October 17th and all partners may resume operations as usual on Thursday as well.

Thank you for your partnership and patience during a very difficult time. We know that the park closure had an impact on all partner operations, and we will be in touch in the days ahead to ensure programs and services have successfully resumed and to address any questions you may have." snip...
