Call USHPA. They can convert the rating.

Any of the local "ACP'S" have a european model he can criuse, preferably something that has mysterious words on top (ie,Airbourne, Kavu, ect, etc)

seriously.... He can borrow my sport2 & harness (im not using it!)
Have a small & large falcon he can abuse as well.
