May 4th 2016 Fellow Feather’s Meeting Minutes

Meeting was held at Nick's Bar and Lounge in Pacifica - we may be considering Nicks' for future meetings. This will be posted on the bulletin board.

In Attendance: John Simpson, Wayne Michelsen, Steve Rodrigues, Lisa Lesser, Rob Johnson, Urs Kellenberger, Saied, George Artz

Guests / New Members: No guests or new members.

Great Flights: Nothing to report. Be safe.

President’s Report (John Simpson): Nothing to report.

Vice President’s Report (Wayne Michelsen): Nothing to report.

Secretary’s Report (Chris Valley): Unable to attend. Vice President took meeting notes. CRV posted them online.

Treasurer’s Report (Lisa Lesser): Current balance stands at $10,957.00.

Clubhouse Officer’s Report (Rob Johnson): Nothing new to report.

Safety Officer’s Report (Chris Carrillo): Nothing new to report. Still out flying.

Tech Officer’s Report (Chuck Kranz): Chuck could not attend. Steve mentioned doing some website updating for editorial things.

Administrator Reports:

~ Tandem (Urs Kellenberger): Nothing to report.
~ Training Bowl (Mark Lilledahl): Nothing to report.

GGNRA Liaison Report (Steve Rodrigues): Steve talked to James Sword about getting some paint for the clubhouse. GGNRA gave us permission to mow the grass, but only for growth below 8", so keep the grass trimmed below 8" moving forward.

Old Business: Some PG's were "buzzing" launch as much as a PG can "buzz" launch.

New Business: Pilot was suspended one week for improper monitoring of a H2 pilot's first flight(s) at the Fort. Remember the rules when it comes to taking on the responsibility of a new pilot. A motion was made to allocate $320 for a lawn mower. Motion passed. The mower will be stored and secured in the clubhouse.

Random chit-chat ensued.

Meeting adjourned at 9:00 PM'ish...
