Is there a software developer here? (easy-rsa)

I sure wish it would become flyable again.

In the meantime I am installing a software package called "easy-rsa" and I noticed that the default settings for the environment variables are like this:

Code: Select all
# These are the default values for fields
# which will be placed in the certificate.
# Don't leave any of these fields blank.
export KEY_COUNTRY="US"
export KEY_PROVINCE="CA"
export KEY_CITY="SanFrancisco"
export KEY_ORG="Fort-Funston"

So I was wondering if it just so happens that a Funston pilot was one of the software developers. There aren't that many developers that would use those values for a default. Maybe its a surfer or a dog jockey. Just asking.

Daniel Mizyricki was probably the person who wrote that code about ten years ago . he is not reachable any more, but was a hang glider pilot as you suspect .

Interesting. Actually I am impressed that his name is nowhere to be found on google and it doesn't show up in the repository logs. If he is the author he keeps a very low profile. Well thanks for the answer.
