Due to the recent multiple incidents involving H-2’s at Fort Funston, we have initiated an emergency suspension of the FF rules that allow soaring flights for H-2’s.

Until further notice, H-2’s may only be launched in non-soarable conditions (less than 9 MPH wind speed), and they must fly directly to the beach. If an H-2 violates any Fellow Feathers rule during their sponsored flight, their Sponsor shall be subject to the same suspension.

This will be a topic at the next FF meeting where the H-2 rules will be reviewed and modified.
