The FAA has issued the text for an upcoming VIP visit to the Bay Area.

TFR begins Tuesday July 22 at 2045 PDT and ends Wednesday July 23 at 1345 PDT. The TFR is described as a 30 nautical mile radius around the lat long 37.802,-122.4689; The vertical limits are the surface up to (but not including) 18,000 feet. Within this volume, during the the specified period, hang gliding and "parachute activities" are prohibited.

Again, the times are:

Start: Tuesday 8:45pm
End: Wednesday 1:45pm

I don't think this one will affect Bay Area free flight a whole bunch; I called and griped about the last one, maybe they are listening. I guess I should be I should be encouraged......

Ed Levin is outside the No Fly Zone, Funstonians (Funstonites?) are grounded Wednesday until 1:45pm.

caveat emptor: The FAA has been known to change these things. I have no plan to update this, should there be a change. Albeit, there are probably higher targets on the threat list than hang gliders and "parachute activities" (their words, not mine).
